RISE is well known to conduct Medical Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) courses that guides students in Year 12 and 13 towards a medical career; the interview preparation courses are held twice every year and they have excellent feedback. Most of the candidates who attended have been successful in getting a place in Medical School. The course has mock scenarios that prepare for most of the stations that are commonly presented in the MMI interviews. Candidates have come from all over the country and have found it a very useful experience before their interviews. 

Dr Thanthullu Vasu leads to course content and has prepared the questions; this has been extended to include all the volunteer examiners to collate the questions to prepare a very popular book published recently: Interviews for Medical School: Multiple Mini Interview (MMI) Practice (ISBN 978-1913755324, tfm Publishing Ltd, Shrewsbury). All the money raised by editorial activities goes to RISE charitable activities.

Dr Premkumar Sundaram and Dr Thiagarajan Sridhar will lead the practicalities of the MMI course for 2024. We are expecting more than 125 experienced examiner volunteers for 2024.
